Artist. Drummer. Skinny.
Originally from Vermilion, Alberta, Mac came to Edmonton to study Fine Art at Grant MacEwan University, learning many skills and practicing with multiple mediums including painting, sculpting, and drawing. After completing the program, Mac started his tattooing career apprenticing at Little Buddha Tattoo on January 29, 2016.
Being an avid watcher of the Discovery Channel in his youth, Mac has a deep love for the natural world and the floral and fauna found within it. He is also a fan of metal music, and the art styles found on album covers and sleeves. Both these influences have pushed him into enjoying tattooing large-scale black and grey realistic pieces, usually centred around animal subject matter, as well as his own designs of more gnarly subject matter, although he is ultimately open to tattooing all styles, and will rarely turn down a tattoo idea based on subject matter!
Mac prides himself on providing his clients with a friendly and comfortable experience, working with them to achieve a tattoo that they are proud to wear, combining their ideas with his own artistic experience.
